Stuff carries a further article today on the scandal in the Immigration Service. This is from the NZPA.

The Inquiring Mind wants to know what just is going on at the Immigration Service.

Why for her actions Mary Anne Thompson counselled rather than disciplined. This what the NZPA article states happened. This article adds to the web of questions on this issue which now engulfs the Immigration Service.

It is encouraging to note that this inquiry which by some counts will be the 3rd into aspects of this affair will be addressing issues such as how some senior staff were hired.

There are far too many questions which require answering for the public to be fobbed off with yet another SSC inquiry which after all is just the Pooh-bahs investigating the Pooh-bahs.
