3rd party car insurance-a good idea, long overdue

The NZ Herald has an article on the move, long overdue in Adam’s view to introduce compulsory third party motor insurance.
This should be put in place as soon as is practicable. There should be a stiff penalties regime for those who flout the law.
The absence of such legislation has long amazed Adam.
Apart from anything else this may assist in reducing ‘boy racer’ incidents, but the change is a good one for other reasons as well.
In this area we have long been out of step with many other countries.
