Agenda today-Part II
On TVNZ’s Sunday morning current affairs show the panel will be John Roughan and Vernon Small. Now Adam is not sure what sort of balance that is meant to represent if any balance at all other than between APN and Fairfax.
Today G. Espiner interviewed Bill English, who made some sense. Roughan and Small then asked questions along with Rawdon Christie.
One thing that did disturb Adam a little bit was towards the end of the programme when Roughan said it was necessary for the MSM to question National quite strongly over what they really stood for. Now, Adam has no problem with rigourous questioning of National, that is all to the good. Yet Adam did not get the feeling that Roughan would be as diligent in his questioning of Labour politicians.
Adam strongly believes that the media should be questioning Labour as strongly, if not more so on the economy given that they have been in charge for 9 years and have not met any of their economic aspirations such as -upper half of the OECD.
Does Agenda have a bias?
