Why is Radio New Zealand so keen on Noelle McCarthy?

All the comments about her appearance on election night were negative.

Yet RNZ management seem/are reportedly very keen on her.

Adam just does not get it. He thinks she is lightweight and out of her depth. That is probably a contradiction in terms, but you know what Adam means.

Send her back to commercial radio? Apart from a stint at ZB for 3 weeks before she quit for being tired, she hasn’t doesn’t commercial radio. And we sure as hell don’t want her!!!

I agree totally Robin, the airwaves are overrun with women in New Zealand. Helen Clark’s loony lesbian left has stifled all male voices in the nanny state and its up to us to get the airwaves back!! And with only ten per cent of nz being brown it is time for Maori to make room for real Kiwis as well! The All Blacks showed us at Munster that our days of being an Irish colony are over.

What is her background? What training has she had?

I don’t think she is mature enough for National Radio. She hasn’t had the experience. Radio NZ should employ a NZer who understands the NZ way of life. Send her back to commercial radio.

She is back on the air today. There has been no explanation by Radio NZ why she is back.

For the life of me I have no idea why she’s still on the air – must be a cultural cringe or something. Or Kiwi’s arn’t good enough so lets get some Irish lass . She’s got a sweet irish voice but she’s out of her depth at times and her columns in granny herald have no insight.

Still she is known as a party girl – if the about town is to be believed.

heheh – I’ve seen her at a few things – she is a party hearty girl –

She was dreadful on TVNZ on the election night – kind of a brunette dumb

Couldn’t agree more Adam – once you get past the alluring Irish lilt in her voice, there’s not a lot happening!
