Colin Espiner has a useful background article on APEC at Stuff. he notes that for a variety of reasons that NZ has a strong profile in APEC.
Unlike some commentators Adam is of the view that Key should be at APEC. Adam thinks that Key should go on to London to meet Gordon Brown.
The nonsense in some quarters about Key being the Prime Tourist is just that silly nonsense.
It is useful that Key is taking John Whitehead head of Treasury with him, that makes sense.
