Is the Securities Commission ‘Missing in Action’ #4

This was another letter to the NZ Herald arising from Brian Gaynor’s NZ Herald article of December 20, 2008 which Adam has previously blogged about.
This correspondent was less than impressed with Ms Diplock’s letter in reply.

If the Securities Commission is just the after the disaster prosecutorial body, then it is time for the government to shut it down and establish a body with appropriate regulatory and oversight powers that will do more than just standby and let thousands lose their savings.
