Until reading this letter to the editor of the NZ Herald Adam was broadly in favour of flying the ‘Maori’ flag on Waitangi Day. Indeed, he had commented positively in that regard.

I have to admit this letter has made me rethink the issue. I thought that it wouldnt be a ‘biggie’ to compromise on the issue of two flags on Waitangi day however the writer makes a good arguement for revisiting and debating the whole issue again.
