The Obama/Clinton Doctrine-first inklings

This article in The Times gives some inkling of what the Hillary doctrine in foreign affairs might be.

Well it does not have to be too smart to be radically different from Dubbya.

However, I wonder if all those who criticize Bush realise that the Obama/Clinton doctrine means that the USA will expect everyone to do their share of the heavy lifting in the various crises and not rely on the Yanks to shoulder the burden.

That people means NZ as well.

The price of good relations with the US just got more expensive. So that nice Mr Key better work out how National is going to up the defence budget.
