Two more Obama appointees hit stormy weather

Another Obama nomination for office runs into snags.

Timothy Geithner’s nomination runs into some snags as it appears his tax history is not squeaky clean. As Treasury Secretary he will have oversight of the IRS.

Further, based on precedent such issues have de-railed past nominations.

The WSJ is reporting as well that Obama’s pick to run the SEC may be running into some critical comment over a perceived lightness of touch with Wall Street bighitters.
