Wishful thinking at National Radio?

At least once this morning one of the Radio New Zealand National announcers on Summer Report referred to the Labour Government criticizing National. On another occasion the announcer started to refer to the Labour government, but corrected herself to Labour Party leader Phil Goff.

After nearly 3 months you might think that as a news programme they would have noticed the change.

The Greens would beg to differ, but I didn’t come over here to argue about the merits (or otherwise) of past Government policies, just to add my nodding comment about the Nat Rad stuff ups.

Let us not forget that it was not a scheme merely a ‘promise’ as Cullen had not allowed for the funding in the spending forecasts, so it was unlikely to eventuate.

I noticed that too. It was a shame really as it confused who was to blame for the cancellation of the $1B home insulation scheme.
