Barack Obama channels Michael Cullen

It would appear that our late lamented Finance Minister, Dr Michael Cullen may well have been far more influential than we ever realised.

Apparently, President Obama was reported as telling Republican leaders from the House of Representatives: “I won. I’m the president.”

Shades of Cullen’s infamous “We won. You lost. Eat that!”
