President Obama admits mistakes over Cabinet nominations

From the BBC – President Obama admits he made mistakes over Cabinet nominations. Whilst refreshing in his admission, questions must arise over why these mistakes occurred and the quality of decision making..
One mistake perhaps, but Obama and his team made several. Now that is disturbing. If they made them at this level what about in regards to the hundreds or thousands of other appointments.
Inevitably his judgment is called into question.

What is also significant is that even the BBC noted his blunder.
Still, it put his infallibility a positive light, the novelty of someone owning up to mistakes.
