Theme: Vigilance by Jestro

I like Henry on radio where he seems less hemmed in. Maybe it is the teaming with The Birdbrain -aka Pippa Wetzell – that truly grates.
Why not put the Walrus on with Wetzell and give Henry free rein for 30 minutes at 7 pm.
Now that i would quite possibly enjoy
He’s definitely right wing so can’t be all bad
I seem to stand alone in being a big fan of Paul Henry, he is funny and cruel. He certainly should be given an evening time slot.
Compare him to the left wing twat on 3 at the same time of the morning and he comes out looking very good.
Ah yes, but then we might get a real programme, rather than the anodyne pap we get now
I think Paul is frustrated where he is, saddled with that format. I’d love to see him unleased, he had an amazing quick wit…and an acid tounge.
And yes, he is annoying at times, but he is also no fool. I’d love to see him do Close Up instead of Sainsbury.
Henry focuses on Henry
I dislike intensely his calling the PM John
Further he is often IMHO very stupid
I’ve got mixed feelings on Henry – sure, he does grate a bit, especially when he gets on one of his hobby-horses. But there is an irreverancy about him, and he doesn;t always take himself too seriously, which is refreshing.
There is a view in broadcast media circles that irritating personalities are ‘watchable’. I don’t agree. Paul Henry is so irritating that I automatically turn off or switch channels whenever he appears. Luckily I’m one of those people who never watches TV before 8:30 pm, so I rarely have to look at him.
