Itinerant mobile phone chargers

March 2, 2009

Does anybody else find they lose their mobile phone chargers?

Yet again after a trip, Adam finds that he cannot find his mobile phone charger.

Why does technology hate Adam?

Why does it have this spirit of independence?

Odd socks are funny things. I tried to solve the problem by buying multiple pairs of the same design, but somehow I still get odd ones.

I know all about sock faries. I have an entire drawer of odd socks. I also have a pile of redundant moble chargers (my wife does not differentiate between obsolete and current chargers) in which the charger for the current one lurks. It can be a pain trying to find the opperative one.
and no i don’t like throwing things away.

Actually, what really happens is that they cocoon themselves in old pairs of shoes in cupboards. Eventually they turn into wire coat hangers….

The Elf story is just a myth, HP.

Perhaps there is some truth after all to postulations that mobile phones do have some strange effect on the brain. But there again for those non-users of cell phones the location of car keys at times can remain somewhat of an unsolved mystery.

DOn’t take it personally – the elves which steal one sock of a pair also have a liking for mobile chargers. And doesn’t it frustrate you that different makes and models have different chargers so a new phone means a new charger and if the one for the current phone goes walk about you can’t use an old one?
