Why?

Why should we buy this property? Presumably it is being disposed of under the terms of Sir Edmund Hillary’s will? Why is this rather nondescript property seen as a national treasure by some? Usually those who want public money spent to purchase it. In any event according to John Banks on the radio the house is now a shell it’s contents having been dispersed according to Sir Edmund’s wishes. Further, the site is hard to access and has no space for parking.
