3000 posts at The Inquiring Mind

March 31, 2009

Well a milestone has been reached. On the last day of March, Adam is pleased to report the following.

The Inquiring Mind has notched up 3000 posts, this is post #3000.

The posts have attracted some 2,813 approved comments. About 2 dozen were deleted as either offensive or nonsensical. Only 2 commenters have been barred. One for being extremely racially offensive, the other for using totally outrageous language.

It is fitting as well to note that Sitemeter is showing that the blog has received some 100,432 unique visits since it was installed in May 2008.

Further, Sitemeter is reporting as well significant increases in the last month in page views and in average length of visit.

Statcounter reports a higher number of unique visits, with a pleasing percentage of returning visitors.

Now if only everyone commented and everyone returned regularly. Ah well, we cannot have everything and it keeps ‘ze leetle grey cells’ busy.

As an experiment with alphainventions again. recently it would appear that unlike the past, mentioning alphainventions has not increased traffic.

Congratulations on your milestone a worthy effort for a blog that embraces interesting and topical subjects covered in an easy flowing style that is both informative and entertaining. Although I have not perused every posting there certainly is abundant food for thought here and you must be pleasantly satisfied with the reach and interest of this blog.

Yes I have been remiss on the London pubs, but I have been thinking about some, so stay tuned.

    Adam

It is all for a very good reason – your blog is always interesting as are your posts and the same cannot always be said for many of the other top 20 blogs except perhaps Farrar and his troll farm.

Congratulations and well done Sir. Stick to your knitting. It is working. It is a point of difference.

How about some more London pubs you used to enjoy?
