Islamic radicals beat girl, 17, in Swat
The Times has a harrowing video of Taleban administering so called justice to a 17 year old girl in Swat, an area of Pakistan where the Pakistan Government recently ceded control to these despotic thugs.
The video is accompanied by an explanatory article.
A local Taleban commander in the militant stronghold of Matta, 25 miles from the regional capital, Mingora, ordered the girl to be flogged a week ago after accusing her of adultery, according to local reporters.
But some residents of Matta have accused the commander of ordering the beating to get revenge after the girl refused to accept his proposal of marriage, the reporters told The Times.
Yet we read in the media that some propose reaching an accomodation with these animals. Adam cannot bring himself to call them men.
The Karzai puppet regime propped up by the West in Kabul appears to be moving towards introducing similar tyrannical approached.
The phrase Islamic justice would appear to be something of an oxymoron.
Adam posted sometime ago on other developments in Swat.

Thanks, I had read some of your background elsewhere, but you brought it all together in the comment.
Most useful.
Fatefma of coarse is quite correct in stating that Islam is a religion of peace and can be excused, at least for the former part of her posting but not the latter.
The confusion arises because of the interpretation of the word “peace” which for the Western world has not the same meaning as for the Islamic world where the orthodox view in Islam is that peace will only exist once Islam reigns supreme over the whole world.
In Islam, replicating historic Islamic Caliphates, peace requires that non-Muslims submit to the call of Islam, either by converting or by accepting the status of a religious minority (dhimmi) and paying the imposed poll tax, jizya. World peace, the final stage of the da’wa (the missionary work for Islam), is reached only with the conversion or submission of all mankind to Islam…Muslims believe that expansion through war is not aggression but a fulfillment of the Qur’anic command to spread Islam as a way to peace. The resort to force to disseminate Islam is not war (harb), a word that is used only to describe the use of force by non-Muslims. Islamic wars are not hurub (the plural of harb) but rather futuhat, acts of “opening” the world to Islam and expressing Islamic jihad.
Together with the duty of the “war in the way of God” (or jihad), this universalistic aspiration leads the Moslems to see the world as being divided fundamentally into two parts. On the one hand there is that part of the world where Islam prevails, where salvation had been announced, where the religion that ought to reign is practiced; this is the Dar ul Islam. On the other hand, there is that part which still awaits the establishment of the saving religion and which constitutes, by definition, the object of the holy war. This is the Dar ul Harb. The latter, in the view of the Moslem jurists, is not populated by people who have a natural right not to practice Islam, but rather by people destined to become Moslems who, through impiousness and rebellion, refuse to accept this great benefit. Since they are destined sooner or later to be converted at the approach of the victorious armies of the Prophet’s successor, or else killed for their rebelliousness, they are the rebel subjects of the Caliph.
Relations between dar al-Islam, the home of peace, and dar al-harb, the world of unbelievers, nevertheless take place in a state of war, according to the Qur’an and to the authoritative commentaries of Islamic jurists. Unbelievers who stand in the way for the da’wa – creating obstacles for the da’wa, are blamed for this state of war – can be pursued peacefully if others submit to it. In other words, those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them.
This awful situation of the recent rise of attempted Islamic imperialism cannot effectively be stopped by the use of force, this can only put a lid on it, and the only effective outcome for the whole world would be to support those who pursue a reformation of Islam and its obvious incompatibility with modern human rights standards.
In the best case scenario Fatefma can be seen as lacking in historic knowledge and in the worst case scenario an apologist appeasing the historic and disturbing aspects of Islam authenticated over centuries by recognized Islamic jurists.
Fateyma
I am afraid that far too many of your co-religionists espouse hate and anger to make it possible for many to believe that. Especially as the so called peaceful majority fail to condemn the radicals and tend to decry anybody who dares to criticize such behaviour as being anti-Islam.
yes ISLAm is a true relegion of peace,,,,,,,,,,,,,its a wrong picture opf ISLAM presented by some radicals
ALLAH AKBAR
bless u
But hey, Islam is the religion of peace.
