Eating Phil Goff #2

I had intended this post to be about this morning’s breakfast at the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce and the speech by Phil Goff.
Unfortunately Adam overslept and thus failed to attend.
However, the Chamber usually put these presentations on their web-site so it should be there soon, if not yet.
This was a nuisance as these affairs are usually pretty good and on a day when the weather is good, as it is today, the view over the Wellington Harbour early in the morning is truly magnificent. Adam was especially looking forward to hearing Phil Goff.

Well OK you are forgiven.
Actually to be precise I was awake at 4:30 a.m. Unfortunately instead of getting up I thought I was OK and that 5:30 a.m. would be OK. Usually I just doze and surface every 15 minutes, but today it was too late.
If I still lived in the Wellington CBD I might have made it, but from Waterloo no way.
But, yes Lucy I deserve the censure.
You slept in!!!!!!! Not acceptable. We depend on you for your wise intelligent analysis of these meetings.
