Letter to the Editor - NZ Herald - April 27
Adam was intrigued by this letter appearing today in the Herald. It appears to have much in common with the rather bizarre post at The Standard commented on in From a Parallel Universe #18.
Are we in for a rash of such letters Adam wonders? Can we be innoculated against bizarre beliefs such as thus enunciated in the letter?
Note the letter offers no alternatives merely excoriates the concept of free markets, enterprise, globalisation and assumes these oppressors are out to suppress Labour. Surprisingly there was no mention of black helicopters. Though the Evil Trinity of the OECD, World Bank and IMF got front and centre billing.

And where does the ‘regressive distribution’ come from?
Am I somehow missing out on subsidized caviar and champagne?
Perhaps it has been hidden from me by the ‘small government’.

NO national wealth creation since 1984??? Just what the hell are we living on then? And if there has been no wealth created since 1984 where does the $130 billion come from? Another universe indeed.
