The moment I read McCarten’s piece I recalled Glenn’s comment. Whether he was aware of Glenn’s remark consciously I do not know, but to me it looks like he recalled the essence of the quote, though quite possibly without realizing it.
It also goes to show that Matt McCarten never has an original thought
