    Sharing a foxhole with Phil-in would be the next best thing to hell while he shouts down the phone to HQ – “For goodness sake Air Marshal the situation here is serious, pull you’re self together man and give me that air cover with your Skyhawk jet fighters.”

    The moment I read McCarten’s piece I recalled Glenn’s comment. Whether he was aware of Glenn’s remark consciously I do not know, but to me it looks like he recalled the essence of the quote, though quite possibly without realizing it.
