Then of course we had an election campaign based on Trust.

Phil Goff was of course in favour of the EFA in office, but changed his tune rapidly when out of office.

It does seem to Adam that Mr Goff can turn indignation on like flicking a switch.

And of course it may well be that a referendum on a Super City may reveal that the majority would vote for such a body. Also let us not forget that it was the Labour Government that established the Royal Commission.

Sadly it must be noted that hypocrisy as such is not confined to Labour politicians.

However, it is a bit rich for Goff to cry foul, when he served in a government that always knew best.
