Divorce no hindrance to Families Commissioners

May 19, 2009

This article at Stuff reveals the marital or otherwise status of Christine Rankin’s fellow members of the Families Commission. It would appear that Ms Rankin is not the only Commissioner to have had more than one relationship.

It is hard to avoid an impression that Ms Rankin is being targeted for her views and personality.

Some may be using Ms Rankin to get at Paula Bennett and John Key who appointed Ms Bennett.

I know he is in a wheel chair. I also understand he has also been married more than twice

Lucy next you`ll be saying Paul Curry has been married four times. But has been married for 21 years to the same woman, unless he got divorced a couple of times recently. He’s also in a wheelchair.

I have no doubt that is the case Adam. And interestingly – the journo’s writing all this crap are – women! Could it be that some ar threatened by others who have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, and got out of the so-called “welfare trap” if such a thing exists.

I’ve also blogged this afternoon on Ali Ikram’s comments about the lenghts his media cohorts have gone to in order to smear Rankin – his candour is refreshing!
