Another cold night

Again a cold night.

Adam has been cooking again. Yes, he knows some think he should be posting on issues of the day, but food, taste, wine etc are daily issues.

Tonight we had a rich casserole, prepared a couple of days ago.

Constituents:-Lamb’s liver, lamb’s hearts, some caramelised onions, chopped tomatoes (tinned),thick  soy sauce, glass of red wine, beef stock sufficient to cover food, Asian fish sauce, a few sliced mushrooms, seasoning. Prior to adding the liver, dredged it in flour.

Cooked the whole for some 2+ hours at 150 Centigrade.

Tonight reheated. enjoyed a great casserole, with a lovely rich sauce redolent with flavour.
