Quotation for Today, Wednesday 17 June
“Nobody is required to reveal all and it’s pretty obvious, I would have thought … why the man has lost the prime minister’s confidence.
“It’s obviously to do with behaviour and veracity. I suspect … the prime minister’s confidence in Dr Worth was lost because he was unable to rely on Dr Worth’s word.”
Being able to rely on a “true and fair” account of important, politically sensitive matters from their ministers was “absolutely fundamental” in the relationship between a leader and their executive, Dr Boston said.
Jonathan Boston, Professor of Public Policy, Victoria University takes issue with those media commentators adversely commenting on John Key’s not revealing why he lost confidence in Richard Worth.

Nor able to rely on his behaviour. Take the visit to the bashed taxi driver for example.. he had a conflict of interest in that he knew the father of the basher, set a stupid bar of visiting “one” victim of crime where there are over 400,000 crimes committed throughout the country, cut into the territory of the electorate MP and also that of the Minister of Police.
He was thus out of control and taken in conjunction with the other incidents, quite happy to follow the dictats of his stupidity, cupidity and sexual desires regardless of the consequences to all others.. the pattern of behaviour here is predatory and quite abnormal even outside Parliament.. its pathological.
Without a doubt the media know more than it’s letting on but are scared of being sued, and want Key to blow the gaffe so that it can make a meal of it.
