Despatch from Planet Winston

July 8, 2009

Thank God Peters is back

No money for promised tax cuts but millions to Maori for land first bought in the 1930s (and planted by the government and unemployed of the time). Backdowns on taniwha and resource development. A farcical reopening of the foreshore issue. Could someone tell John Key about Pandora’s box? Thank God Winston Peters has arisen and we have a Maori who knows how to go forward instead of backward.

The above is the text of a Letter to the Editor of Dominion Post today.

As Adam wrote earlier some think Peters is a busted flush, but this letter tends to suggest that the population of Planet Winston is out there and waiting for their leader’s return.

Key and Finlayson will need all their skills to handle this.
