The process of acting in the film often felt like we were just making a documentary about something that was actually happening. The location [Johannesburg] has got such a history in the context of apartheid South Africa, so you could so easily jump into the emotional turmoil of the character. There was no green screen, no blue screen in the process and I really appreciated that.
