High Poll ratings for National
Stuff carries a report on the very high poll rankings for National and John Key in the most recent TV3 poll out today and the poor ratings for Labour. Goff at 4.7% is only 1.7% ahead of Lazarus. Key is on 55%+.
Poll ratings are all very well, but Key needs to take a grip on his administration. It is all very well to allow for differing points of view, but there needs to be some discipline.
Furthermore, key is spending too much time picking up the pieces after poor or non-performance. In addition there have been too many incidents of poor political management.
Otherwise the poll ratings will drop and little will have been accomplished, vide the falling US ratings for Obama,a s opposed to the Europeans who are still wallowing n the relief that Obama is not Goerge Bush, but they may yet come to regret getting what they wished for.
