Nonsensical Herald
It is early February, so the NZ Herald seeks to stimulate debate on a matter of crucial national importance, including ensuring many of it’s columnists write articles on this matter of critical import.
What is this vital issue?
The need for a robust written constitution? NO!
How we might materially improve productivity? NO!
The merits/demerits of the 2025 taskforce? NO!
Climate change? NO!
No, the NZ Herald deploys major resource to canvass whether we should change the NZ flag.
What a crock.
This nonsense seems to be abetted by some who should know better. Surely Mr Farrar does not think all these columnists suddenly chose to write about the flag.
This is a tired and worn perennial, which seems to surface regularly, especially around Maori Day.
Waitangi Day is not our national day and never will be whilst it is given over to the apartheid attitudes of the likes of Hone Harawira.
As for a flag of black with a silver fern, it is hard to get really inspired by that. It is such a wimpish crock of crap.
