GLNZ meddles again

Failed to notice this before, but She Who Used To Be Obeyed was quoted by the Herald as supporting a change in the NZ flag.
Apparently, the GLNZ likes this:-

to this blogger’s eye this looks like a rather unappealing fabric design for couch coverings. It does not look like an emblem of a nation
The fact that it appeals to the GLNZ, further confirms Adam in his original view.
Why does this person keep meddling?
Does she not have a job to do in New York? Are there not millions of the poor she should be succouring?

My own view on flags is that I’m happy with the one we’ve got.
As you rightly say the one touted for by the GLNZ shows a sad lack of taste.
Perhaps she is laying the ground work for a recall to high office in New Zealand if she does not rise any further up the greasy pole that is the UN.
If she does attempt a come back, then Van Helsing will be dragged out of retirement!
