Colin Espiner writing on Chris Carter and his reaction to his demotion, contrasting Carter unfavourably to Shane Jones:-

Carter, who trotted out the tired old “the media is picking on me because I’m gay” line yet again.

I happen to know that Carter’s colleagues – including those of a homosexual persuasion – are utterly sick of Carter doing this, and wish he’d take his medicine like a man instead of constantly bleating about how hard-done-by he is.
