Karl du Fresne on NZ & Drinking
September 20, 2010
Excellent article in NZ Listener, new edition out today, by Karl du Fresne on the scare-mongering and fear tactic employed by the likes of Doug Sellman in his campaign to roll back the clock to the days of total state control over what we drink, win and at what price and in what quantity.
Article not on line but well worth reading. At last someone sticks up for the majority.

Karl’s article was rubbish. He doesn’t seems to understand the harm caused by alcohol in New Zealand and cherry picks his statistics. Not surprising really. He gets paid to write about wine which makes him an apologist for the industry.
