Adam’s Wallies of the Week

In the HoS there is a report that Eden Park naming rights could have been sold to a sponsor for some $40 million, covering much of a funding shortfall.

Apparently this was not pursued because of the ‘rich legacy’ (cough, snigger) inherent in the Eden Park name. Somebody called John Waller made this statement apparently.

So Auckland ratepayers will now be expected to pick up the tab.

Adam thinks the unelected wallies who run Eden Park should be got rid of immediately and their replacements should be instructed to pursue such an opportunity immediately.

How dare these people spend ratepayers’ money in this fashion. As an Auckland ratepayer, Adam will now have to pick up even more of the cost of this grandiose monument to the arrogance of the rugby fraternity.

Come on Len, speak out against this massive waste of ratepayer money.

Who gave these people th authority to make this decision. If it was you John Banks hang your head in shame, as you campaigned on limiting ratepayer spend on this white elephant.

Wallies the lot of them. They should be surcharged for wasting ratepayer money.
