As per normal the annual humiliation at Whinetangi is dominated by the Harawira clan.

Outside her grandsons abuse the the government and PM with vitriolic abuse and hate speech, which in many countries would be cause for their arrest and prosecution. Protest is all very well but statements such as these about John Key go beyond protest, they are defamatory and calculated to stir up race hatred:-
The protestors yelled that Key was responsible for stealing Maori lands in Aotearoa.
Wikitana Popata said: “He is the one responsible for killing and murdering a lot of our people. He is the one responsible for stealing our foreshore.”
Popata should be prosecuted. If Pakeha went around talking about maori being cannibals people would get all upset and claim they were insensitive and racist. Come to think of it some did recently when John Key made a mildly humourous remark in that regard.
Like the Taliban, people like Popata have closed minds.

People should be able to say whatever they like, provided they are prepared for the consequences. He’s clearly not the only racist among us. It is immoral for us to be funding him from our own pocket.

I have no problem with protest or disagreement, I do have a problem with racist attacks and the notion that our PM, who like us all hasmany imperfections, is a murderer, based on the baseless racial attacks of the Harawira family. Those assertions go beyond mere protest they are a promotion of race hatred. In fact looking at the harawiras one might say that promoting race hatred and divisveness is their purpose in life.
As such they should be shunned.
Yeah, shunned!
As should anyone who implies that your family still eat human flesh, yeah! Shunned!
