More RWC oppression and an offical rort
May 15, 2011
Not content with draconian legislation on signage the govt now seeks to oppress small businesses even more, if this NZ Herald article is correct.
The reported comment by MED official appears to be the height of arrogance.
It would appear that the NZ government has joined the ranks of rip-off artists seeking to hike prices and rort the RWC.
National the pro business party. Yeah Right!!

BTW next time I see Len or some one similar I will give them an ear full.
I was astonished by the article and by the comments of the tool who is described as a lawyer for the Ministry of Economic Development. It is almost worth a complaint to the Law society. It is typical of the mindset of people who inhabit beauracracies, problem finders rather than solvers.
I live 400 metres from Popas. It’s a good place.
They have been dealt to by the redevelopment of of Sandringham Road – 6 months or road-works and now by the authorities.
I hope they ban any-one in a high viz vest, i.e those that are worn by the jobs worthy’s who are responsible for lock down area around Eden Park.
It is utterly disgraceful.
