At least that is what most people do when they find themselves sinking in the mire.
Not Phil Gaffe, no he keeps right on.
Phil Gaffe has always stuck Adam as essentially a decent man, but recently he seems to have lost the plot.
Gaffe’s latest stumble being the fire he has stoked around was he or wan’t he briefed by the SIS on supposed Israeli activity in NZ.
Very successfully Gaffe has turned a minor incident into a major conflagration.
Now the issue is not was he briefed, but is Gaffe guily yet again of major mis-judgement and focusing on peripheral matters.
When the Labour leader has the PSA commenting adversely things are not good.
