The revelation that Thompson's academic qualifications are now under police scrutiny is right out of left field, and if true, defies belief. The revealtion that both the incoming and outgoing Ministers of Immigration knew all about this sordid business as far back as April 2007 is far less surprising; nay, it's par for the course! It's going to take government initiative and industry regulation on a massive scale before we get anything more than fashionable tokenism.
