Worldwide people dislike Trump

The Pew Research Center has issued the results of a new survey. We do not necessarily dislike Americans, but we have deep concerns about it’s direction and about Donald Trump.

So democracies find Trump unpalatable in the main.Russia likes him -no surprises there then. Israel looks to be an outlier and Adam suspects is subject to special factors.

The depths of disapproval registered abroad suggest that Trump has undone the progress Obama made in burnishing the American brand. It took Bush eight years, and the quagmire in Iraq, to notch such dismal ratings overseas, according to Pew. It has taken Trump six months.

Six months!!! Talk about trashing the brand.

Pew noted:-

Trump’s character is also a factor in how he is viewed abroad. In the eyes of most people surveyed around the world, the White House’s new occupant is arrogant, intolerant and even dangerous. Among the positive characteristics tested, his highest rating is for being a strong leader. Fewer believe he is charismatic, well-qualified or cares about ordinary people.

Basically people do not like him, nor do they trust him. Trump is not making America Great, indeed day by day he diminishes a state once seen as the bastion of freedom.

The decline of the USA is really depressing.
