Remembrance – 1 – I Went To A Marvellous Party – Noel Coward – sung by Patricia Routledge

Way back in time Adam met the lady who would become Mrs Adam. In early 1973 Adam took his future wife, though he did not know it then, to see Cowardy Custard, a revue featuring songs by Noel Coward at the Mermaid Theatre.

The Coward numbers featured are songs and scenes from Coward’s works of the 1920s to the 1960s, including “You were there“, “Mad About the Boy“; “The Stately Homes of England”, “I Wonder What Happened to Him?” and, perhaps most memorably, “Marvellous Party” (sung by Patricia Routledge in the original production)
