A review has found the Government’s own gold-standard scheme to approve building products is badly flawed. It questions the competency and expertise of those issuing the powerful Codemark certificates. Phil Pennington has been looking into this.

Our building products are not unique in many cases. Does the approval regime do anything in many cases, other than add cost?
