Morrinsville small businesses feel sidelined by govt


Morrinsville not impressed with Ardern’s new business friendly initiative:-


The Prime Minister is striving to thaw her so-far frosty relationship with businesses – but small enterprises are feeling left out in the cold. Yesterday Jacinda Ardern announced a new Advisory Council – run by Air New Zealand’s boss – to give business leaders a direct line to her. The announcement prompted the National MP Judith Collins to tweet: “most businesses are Mum-and-Dad owned – Jacinda Ardern should be listening to the small businesses of Morrinsville.” So RNZ political reporter Craig McCulloch started going through the phone book.
