MSNBC – Lawrence O’Donnell: Justice Department leaks to help Barr – Did Barr seek to cover up matters?

The Justice Department has started leaking details of the Mueller report. It is apparently more than 300 pages. But Democrats want more than leaks and, as Nancy Pelosi said, they want more than Barr’s summary of Mueller’s findings. Democrats want the full Mueller report. Lawrence discusses with Quinta Jurecic and Ron Klain.
This reinforces Adam’s earlier concerns that Barr could not have reasonably made an adequate summary for Congress in 48 hours.
Whether it is or not, it smacks of a highly partisan approach by William Barr. Notably when Ken Starr delivered his report about President Clinton virtually everything was published.

Like Holder was appointed by Obama as his “wingman” – Holder’s own proud description of what he thought his role as AG was. And he got the official contempt notice from Congress to prove it: very proud of that too he was. First AG to be held in contempt and the vote was 255-67, with 17 Democrats voting for it and a bunch of Dems slithering away to avoid the vote. Not that it amounted to anything that seriously hurt Holder and his future career. Laughing all the way to the bank.
And MSNBC? Lawrence O’Donnell? You still believe these iiars, especially on this issue after the last two years? Come on. I know you hate Trump but the MSM is toast on this. Zero credibility now.
Oh – and the ratings for MSNBC and CNN, and for the likes of Rachel Maddow and company, have fallen through the floor. Larry’s not the brightest bulb around so he apparently thinks he can keep beating this drum to get the viewers back.
