Auckland university students fear growing white supremacy – Adam wonders about the reality

This segment on RNZ – Morning Report is really rather strange.

A group of Auckland University students are so afraid of a growing white supremacist movement on campus they are thinking of dropping out. They say disturbing and distressing behaviour has been going on for years, including xenophobic comments on social media, threats and graffiti on campus. Students have told RNZ they are too scared to be named, or for their voices to be broadcast, so their comments have been voiced. Our reporter Katie Scotcher has the details.

Adam has some doubts as to whether the fears are real or imagined. After all so many seem frightened of their own shadows today.

A more sinister explanation is that this is a stunt. The political climate in NZ universities is so PC, that this report seems rather dubious to say the least. After all why has nothing surfaced previously.
