Perry Pontac is an American-born playwright living in London. His first play for radio was The Event of the Season in 1987. He is a remarkably consistent and successful comic writer, with a manner all his own. All of the thirteen plays he has so far written for radio exploit extreme situations and ornate language for comic purposes.
