BBC Newsnight: 40 Years After Thatcher: #1 – The future of work

Forty years after the  week Margaret Thatcher came to power, is the UK once again on the brink of a sea change?

In the first of a series of three films about the direction of the UK, our economics editor Ben Chu looks at the future of the world of work.

He’s joined by Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, chief secretary to the Treasury Liz Truss and former Bank of England governor Lord King.

Most interesting, look forward to the subsequent films.

Have some concerns about possible bias and an anti-business attitude

However, it seems to have a major pro-union attitude.
