Census debacle absence of iwi data ‘absolutely dire’

Following on from my earlier posts today Nine To Noon yesterday had an interview with an Auckland University statistician and sociologist who claims the botched Census will have lasting implications for Maori.

His stance would seem to be different from James Shaw’s position. Quelle surprise as the French might say

Although the piece was focused on implications for Maori much of the commentary has relevance across the board.

Another plank in Shaw’s edifice of deflection is exposed as riddled with statistical termites.
