Police have no targets for gun buyback

So there are no targets for what constitutes success or achievement with regards to the NZ Government gun buyback.

What a surprise?

This open and transparent government seems to dislike targets and benchmarks.

So tell me again how taking guns from those legally licensed stops gangs using illegal guns?

So tell me gain how taking guns from legally licensed owners, stops malcontents from getting guns on the black market?

Tell me again how having no targets, enables the success of the policy to be assessed?

Tell me again how these laws make me safer?

BTW I am not a gun owner. I do not shoot. I have no desire to shoot. But this legislation seems to have not materially altered the situation, such that I sleep any better in my bed at night.
