Ardern’s Achievements #1 – Housing Need

She has’ delivered’ a 349% increase in need, What a star!

Stuff reports:

For the first time over 20,000 households are on the Government’s waitlist for public housing.

By the end of August 20,385 eligible households were on the waitlist for state or social housing, with over 18,000 ranked as “priority A” – the most needy.

This compared to 19,438 the month before and 13,167 in August 2019. The waitlist has more than trebled since 2017.

It has increased by 349% since Labour took office.

What a stellar performance from Ardern, Twyford and Megan Woods.

However, a left centred media did not push this prior to the election.

Unlike n 2017 we saw very little from media on government failures.

In my view TVNZ, Newshub and Stuff were the worst, followed by RNZ

Would people have voted differently if the media had held Labour to account? Was the Labour victory built upon misinformation and media sycophancy?
