Glenn Kirschner: Trump’s Statements at FLA Rally Can be Used as Incriminating Evidence in DA Vance’s Tax Prosecution

July 05, 2021

For years Donald Trump has bragged about what a very stabe tax genius he is: he famously said the fact that he pays no taxes makes him “smart”; he told the New York Times he knows the tax code better than “the greatest CPAs.” However, now that the Trump Organization and Trump’s Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg have been indictment for a 15-year-long scheme to defraud involving criminal tax evasion, Trump has changed his tune. At his Florida rally he told the crowd that he doesn’t know if you have to pay taxes on compensation you get for cars, apartments or to pay your grandchildren’ private school tuition. Trump further indicate that nobody understands such things. Trump’s abrupt U-turn, going from tax genius to someone who knows nothing about taxes can be used as prosecutors as an admission by Trump. This video discusses how Trump is giving prosecutors more incriminating evidence every time he speaks.
