Glenn Kirschner: Lordy there are Cheney-McCarthy tapes! And they prove Kevin McCarthy is a coward AND a liar.

The New York Times revealed audio recordings between Rep. Liz Cheney and Rep. Kevin McCarthy. Takeaways?
1. Before the tapes were released, McCarthy denied saying precisely what the tapes prove he said 2. The recordings show that Republican leadership was discussing removing Donald Trump from office via the 25th Amendment for unfitness 3. McCarthy was going to tell Trump to resign but “feared” Trump would bring up the need for Mike Pence to pardon him
These tapes show the nonnegotiable need for McCarthy to testify before BOTH the House select committee investigating the insurrection AND a federal grand jury investigating the crimes of Donald Trump.
