An estimated 500-million people have contracted COVID-19 and more than six million have died since the pandemic began in 2020. But as infection rates appear to slow down, many countries are removing coronavirus restrictions. Some scientists are concerned since the contagious BA.2 variant is still spreading quickly around the world. So how will we stay on top of the virus?
